Volunteer

Breadshare involves the community through providing opportunities for people to volunteer. People volunteer for many reasons – to learn more about how real bread is made, or to learn more about how a community bakery is run, or just to be involved in a social enterprise, or simply to have a more rounded life experience.

People who volunteer with Breadshare include students who need to fulfil volunteering obligations (e.g. Duke of Edinburgh Awards or vocational requirements) and adults looking for a convivial, social environment to take them “out of their square”, or who want to give of themselves to further objectives of a social enterprise.

Breadshare has a dedicated volunteer coordinator who can talk to you about your needs and discuss possible volunteering roles at Breadshare. To find out more contact us by email  or by phone.
