Alex Bakes by Breadshare opened in November 2019.

We sell our entire organic product range, including fresh bread, packaged goods, bakery treats, tarts, healthy takeaway lunch options.

Alex Bakes also has a dedicated workshop space. We host sourdough starter workshops, tea tasting workshops with more to be announced soon! Tickets and dates can be viewed on Eventbrite.

Pop in to pick up bread-related merch and gifts too! We sell bread making kits, handmade utensils and more. Gift vouchers are also available in store.

Breadshare Jane Street is based in Leith.

Winning Leith’s favourite local bakery in 2019, we’re delighted to offer fresh organic bread to the community.
