The fit-out of our new Portobello bakery is (almost) completed. Over the past 6 weeks we have replaced a curry house with a bakery. With the help of many volunteers we installed our ovens at the end of November, removed the old fixtures, cleaned and painted the premises, hoisted a new sign and finally moved our bakery equipment in just before Christmas.
We will be open for business this coming Monday 5th January 2015 and have fresh bread for retail sale. The cafe will be serving coffee, toast, almond twists, soups, salads.
Looking forward to meeting our new customers in Portobello.
